Financial Freedom Fridays: Tips for Smart Investing and Wealth Building
Friday Jun 14, 2024
Friday Jun 14, 2024
In this episode, I want to talk about something super important: Wills Vs Trusts. These tools are essential for anyone looking to secure their financial future and ensure their assets are managed and distributed according to their wishes. I shared a story about a family members dealing with the loss of a loved one and how a trust could have made things so much easier. Trusts help avoid probate and offer a smoother transition of assets, which can save your family a lot of headaches and money.
I also touched on the benefits of investing in dividend-paying stocks. These stocks not only grow in value over time but also provide regular income through dividends. It's a great way to make your money work for you. Diversifying your investments is another crucial strategy. By spreading your investments across different asset types, you reduce risk and balance both short-term gains and long-term growth. Financial literacy is key, so I recommend checking out resources like "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki and learning from mentors.

Lastly, but sure to do your own research and make informed decisions. Financial planning is a journey, and the more you know, the better equipped you'll be to navigate it. Let's take control of our financial futures together, grow our wealth, and secure a brighter tomorrow for ourselves and our families.

Motivational Monday - Your *MasterPeace* Is A Work-In-Progress
Monday Jun 03, 2024
Monday Jun 03, 2024
In today's episode of Motivational Monday, we're diving deep into the essence of perseverance, faith, and staying true to yourself. As always, I'm here to remind you to take a moment to relax, enjoy the show, and bask in the blessings of another day. So sit back, grab your favorite beverage, and let's get into it!
I'm opening up about the challenges we all face, especially us content creators. It's easy to fall into the trap of comparison, wondering why we're not seeing the same success as others. But let me tell you, everything happens in its own time or better yet 'IN HIS OWN TIME'. It's about staying the course, keeping the faith, and trusting in the journey. I've had my fair share of doubts, but I've learned that my path is unique, and so is yours.
In a world dominated by social media, it's easy to get caught up in the highlight reels of others. But remember, authenticity is key. Celebrate the success of others, but never lose sight of who you are and what you bring to the table. Your journey is your *MasterPeace* in the making, and every step forward is progress. We all are a Work In Progress. So keep pushing, keep believing, and together, we'll navigate the ups and downs of life. Stay tuned, fam, and remember, your masterpiece is a work-in-progress!
I know it can be tough out there, seeing others' success and wondering, "Why not me?" Trust me, I've been there. But here's the thing – we can't get caught up in that comparison game. It'll only lead to envy and self-doubt, and that's not the move. Instead, we gotta celebrate the wins of others and use them as inspiration to level up our own game. Study what they're doing right, and see if there's anything you can apply to your own hustle. But at the end of the day, stay true to who you are and your authentic journey.
The truth is, we're all Works-In-Progress, *MasterPeace* in the making. Every day, we have the opportunity to put in the work, have faith, and trust the process. It might not happen overnight, but if you stay dedicated and keep pushing forward, even when the doors seem closed, your time will come. Don't ever forget – everything happens in God's timing, not ours. So keep the faith, fam, and know that your masterpiece is constantly evolving, one brushstroke at a time.

Monday May 20, 2024
Monday May 20, 2024
In today's episode, we dive into something that was sparked by a recent post from Queen Lisa Marie and a previous episode with Queen Antrice Hart: Intentionality and Purpose. You know, sometimes life gets so busy that we forget to pause and ask ourselves why we're doing what we're doing. But trust me, taking that moment to reflect can make all the difference. So sit back, relax, and let's talk about how to hit that reset button and get intentional about our purpose.
First things first, let's talk about INTENT. Ever feel like you're just going through the motions without really knowing why? Yeah, I've been there too. But understanding your intent behind every action can bring clarity and direction to your life. Whether it's at work, in relationships, or pursuing your passions, knowing your why can keep you focused and motivated.
Now, let's discuss recognizing when it's time to hit that reset button. Burnout is real, y'all, and pushing through it won't do you any favors. So listen to your body, pay attention to those warning signs, and don't be afraid to course-correct when necessary. Remember, it's okay to pivot and realign your actions with your PURPOSE.
And finally, let's talk about self-care. It's not selfish to prioritize your well-being, fam. In fact, it's essential. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. So take those breaks, indulge in some self-care rituals, and recharge your batteries.
At the end of the day, living with purpose and intention is what's going to bring you true fulfillment. So take some time to reflect, journal, and rediscover your passion. Align your actions with your goals and make conscious choices that serve your greater purpose. Trust me, it'll be worth it, you'll thank yourself later.

Wine Down Wednesdays - The Broken 🩼CRUTCHES🩼: Are You Carrying Too Much Weight?
Wednesday May 08, 2024
Wednesday May 08, 2024
In this episode, we talking all about importance of self-care and the metaphorical weight we all carry. I know I'm not alone in sometimes feeling overwhelmed and burdened by the weight of the world. I recently came across a post by Queen Lisa Marie of @seasoned_dialogue that got me thinking. She talked about being a 🩼CRUTCH🩼, and it resonated with me deeply. We all have our own busy lives and responsibilities, and it's easy to feel like we're carrying too much weight on our own shoulders. And the weight of our burdens can sometimes feel like we're carrying too much on our shoulders, like 🩼CRUTCHES🩼 under pressure.
Self-care isn't just a new buzzword—it's essential for our mental and emotional well-being. Neglecting self-care can leave us feeling drained and overwhelmed. Let's prioritize ourselves and make self-care a non-negotiable part of our routine. Join me as I share my thoughts on the importance of self-care and recognizing when we're carrying too much weight, whether it's our own or others'. I also share some practical tips and strategies for shifting that weight and finding support.
Take a moment to reflect on your own "🩼CRUTCHES🩼"— the things in your life that weigh you down. Whether it's work stress, relationship issues, or societal pressures, it's crucial to identify these burdens so we can start to address them.
