In this episode, I'm diving deep into the art of 'Manicuring Your Life!' You heard me right! I'm talking about taking those cuts to the overgrown bushes of your life to keep things tidy and growing just the way you want. I've got some thoughts to share with you that came from a resent trip I took cruising through my old neighborhood. As I was drive I  spotted this bush I planted over 20 years ago. Crazy, right? But here's the kicker – it's now a towering evergreen, completely blocking the sight of the house. This got me thinking, life's a lot like that bush. If we don't prune, nurture, control, -aka- MANICURE it, things can grow wild and out of control. So, let's talk about How Are You Manicuring Your Life?
I delve into the parallels between the overgrown evergreen and aspects of our lives that need pruning from relationships, finances, personal well-being, you name it. Sharing some personal moments and revelations about areas in my life that need a bit of pruning too. Sometimes, it's about getting new tools in our toolbox – be it counseling, learning, or self-improvement. I even share a story about my neglected bush in front of the house – a visual metaphor for how letting things slip can get out of hand. But it's never too late; I talk about adapting to new tools for better control.
