In this episode, I'm taking you into the kitchen with me, because a simple meal turned into one of the realest conversations we've had over here. I was standing there trying to decide between a Hamburger π and a Meatloaf, and it hit me. Meatloaf, hamburgers, meatballs, it is all the same meat. The only thing that changes is how you break it down and how you take it in. And that is exactly how the weight of this world works.
So much gets put on our shoulders. Work, relationships, parenting, friendships, and just dealing with people every single day. In this episode, I'm reminding you that you do not have to take it all in one bite. You can portion it out. You can bring people around to help you carry it. You can dress it up so it feels a little more subtle. And when it is a full meatloaf, you can cut it slow and take your time. Perspective changes everything.
I also had to check myself and remember to be grateful I even have the meal, because some folks do not have a meal at all, and some do not even have the money to have the problem. We are blessed and highly favored, and God will not put more on us than we can bear. He is above us like an umbrella, behind us cleaning up yesterday, beneath us as our rock, and within us when we pray.
