Both of my kids hit major milestones this month – my son EJ graduated from college, and just yesterday, my daughter Keona graduated from High School. I'm a proud dad, feeling incredibly grateful. I talk about that surreal feeling of watching your kids grow up and chase their dreams, and how it feels like just yesterday I was dropping them off for their first day of school.
But it's not just about my family; it's about our whole community. I also share a powerful story about one of my daughter's friends, a young man who showed the most incredible strength in the face of tragedy right before his own graduation. His story is a testament to resilience, community support, and the human spirit. It’s a reminder that we all need to be there for each other.
