Welcome to another episode of Cousin Ed's Corner - Wine Down Wednesdays. In this episode, I'll be sharing my personal story about being asked to do a TedTalk for my new job. I'll also be urging all our listeners to be prepared for such an opportunity.
As someone who is always looking for new challenges, I was excited when I was asked to do a TedTalk for my new job. However, I quickly realized that this was going to be one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Speaking in front of a live audience can be daunting. Doing it in front of the whole sales team and the CEO in the audience can be even more intimidating.
In this episode, I'll be sharing my tips on how to prepare for a TedTalk, including researching the topic, practicing your delivery, and learning to control your nerves. I'll also share my personal experience of what it was like to give a TedTalk and the valuable lessons I learned from the experience.
As we all know, the world is becoming more diverse, and it's important to understand the experiences of people from different backgrounds. That's why I'm urging all our listeners to watch the "6 Must-Watch TED Talks to Understand Black History and Diversity" link in this post. These talks are an excellent resource for anyone who wants to broaden their understanding of diversity and inclusivity.
So, join me in this episode of Cousin Ed's Corner - Wine Down Wednesdays as I share my TedTalk experience and offer tips on how to prepare for a TedTalk. And don't forget to watch the "6 Must-Watch TED Talks to Understand Black History and Diversity" link in this post.
